Sustainable Art & Culture

Jwala offers a platform to budding talent and new artist to display and perform through its large net work of corporate and Institutional partners. Jwala works on rebirth of regional art and crafts. We aim to help young people find work in their home village and thus increase their family income and slow down rural depopulation.

Quality Assurance: attempts to improve and stabilize production (and associated processes) to avoid, or at least minimize, issues which led to the defect(s) in the first place.
Sales assistance: to give exposure to rural artisans/entrepreneurs/ in the country to develop markets for products manufactured by them and to create awareness amongst urban consumers about rural products.
Export Services: Build capacity of the artisans on how to export their products through Government and Internet based platforms globally and other related services.

Films /Documentaries
Jwala considers Film/Documentaries as a powerful medium to reach millions of people in a simple way. We have been working intensively with Film fraternity & Educational institutions for the cause of spreading social awareness among the Indian masses. Documentaries on Environment Protection, Energy Efficiency and Climate Change have been produced by Jwala.

Media literacy should be one of the integrating principles in Indian education. The goal should be to generate measures that critically and analytically integrate both the traditional mass media and the new media, particularly the Internet, into education.

In view of the challenge posed by the electronic media, school needs even more to face up to the need to contribute to educating human beings who are able to communicate and to arrive at a judgment of their own, to enkindle creativity and pleasure in own creations, and – within the scope of the “media education” educational principle – to encourage individuals in finding their focus in society and a constructive-critical approach to experiences to which they are exposed.

Jwala Media Faculty, integrates the mass media in teaching must not be seen as simply using the media as an impulse for teaching a specific subject or as an illustration of the presentation of a subject. Rather, in using and examining the media, awareness is raised on how they influence our view of the world and how this impacts on social and political decision-making.
